Laura and Stuart’s autumnal london wedding
On a day like Laura and Stuart’s wedding day in November, when the light is just about as low and perfect as it can get, turning everything golden, I remember why autumn weddings are so great.
I alway love seeing how couples personalise their wedding days. Laura and Stuart told me that they had a surprise planned for their ceremony.
Laura’s Dad is Welsh and so they had arranged for the London Welsh male voice choir to sing. There is just something about hearing people sing in glorious 3 part harmony that really chokes me up. The minute these guys started in the church I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and my eyes filled with tears. I could barely see for the rest of the ceremony. This wasn’t helped by the fact that Laura’s sweet dad was clearly delighted buy the surprise and sang his heart out along with the choir , with a huge grin on his face.
Later on at the reception (held at the Amadeus centre) she out did herself and surprised Stuart with short animated film she’d had made about them! (tears again) What a lovely thoughtful pair!
